'FAREIDOLIA', the next title from the development team behind 'Blue Archive', will host its first playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026), held at Makuhari Messe in Japan from September 17 to 21. NEXON Games has been sequentially revealing information on the world view and characters through its official X account.
The stage for 'FAREIDOLIA' is 'Anima City', a town located in a world closely resembling Earth. The player is appointed as director of the Anima City Restoration Center while simultaneously taking on the role of caretaker for 'Tasogare Hall', the Restoration Center's office. In Tasogare Hall, players live under one roof with girls possessing unique abilities known as 'Mates', working together with them to resolve various issues that arise across Anima City.
'Minieh' is an explorer who lives for the 'ultimate adventure'. Hailing from an explorer guild, she boasts a wealth of knowledge on par with an expert. While usually cheerful and laid-back, her drawback is that she quickly gets overly excited whenever adventure is mentioned.
'Ohana' is a girl who refers to herself as a 'genius all-rounder'. Her constantly expressionless face gives off a somewhat mysterious atmosphere. Although a genius who displays extraordinary talent no matter what task she is assigned, she wastes that talent on mischief and fun.
'Shami' is a cat-eared girl who is perpetually short on money. Due to a constitution that attracts bad luck, never a peaceful day goes by, and because she pours her money into warding charms, she is always broke. While claiming she is too busy making a living to afford to dream, she never fails to tune in to idol broadcasts.
'Elevator Girl' is a mysterious girl responsible for operating the elevator at Tasogare Hall.
