The global Frontier Test for LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS (hereinafter BREAKERS), a new anime action RPG published by NCSOFT (co-CEOs Taek-Jin Kim and Byung-Moo Park) and developed by VIC GAME STUDIOS (CEO Jae-young Choi), officially kicks off today on the 10th.
Targeting global players, this test schedule runs through September 14. Players can freely log into the game across mobile (Android, iOS) devices and the Steam platform. Text is comprehensively supported in five languages—including Korean, Japanese, English, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese—while in-game voiceover can also be selected according to player preference from three languages: Korean, Japanese, and English.
During this test period, NCSOFT will showcase a variety of new content and improved systems. Players can experience 'Main Story Chapter 3', which continues the narrative, along with two side-story 'Spin-off Stories'. In addition, a new equipment system called 'Primal Gear' is introduced for the first time, along with expanded content across a wide range of features, including six types of fierce 'Boss Raids' and 12 diverse 'Characters'.
Major improvements have also been made based on close analysis of player feedback from previous tests. The early narrative in 'Main Story Chapters 1 and 2' has been refined, and the structural quality of the 'Combat System', where hit feedback is crucial, has been significantly enhanced. Furthermore, overall 'Character' modeling and background art quality have been upgraded, while the user experience and user interface (UX/UI) have been revamped into a more intuitive design.
Going forward, the team plans to actively reflect player feedback gathered during the test into development to maximize the game's final level of polish. The title features key highlights such as stunning visual presentation that feels like watching an anime series, an intricately crafted storyline, and fast-paced combat action.
