NCSOFT's Lineage W released an update on Wednesday, August 26. This week's update includes additional improvements to the Warrior class following last week's update, a reduction in difficulty for the first chapter of the Epic, and news regarding various events.

Warrior class improvements continue. Blessing of Eva: Rising received an added effect that increases continuous recovery upon defeating monsters, while Titan Rock: Rising had its ranged damage reflect chance buffed by 5%. Berserker (Rising) gained an additional +10 Ranged Evasion, and Titan Fall was given an effect that ignores NPC/PC collisions for a set duration upon use. The Normal ~ Legend Spell Card effects for Fury: Rising and Titan Rock: Rising were also improved.

The difficulty of the first chapter of the Epic is also reduced. Detailed information regarding what specific parts were adjusted was not disclosed.

There was also news about various events. Until maintenance on Wednesday, September 9, players can purchase 'Cube of Continuing Journey 3' at the Exchange Shop for 100 Adena, limited to 1 per account daily. Opening the cube grants 500 Spell Coins along with 1 item based on chance. During the event period, the event dungeon 'Hall of Faded Stigmata' is also open. Characters level 30 or higher can enter for 2 hours per day, and players can purchase various items using 'Traces of Divinity' obtained from the dungeon.
