The first in-game footage of Woochi the Wayfarer has been revealed.
At Unreal Fest Seoul 2026 held on August 21, Mok Young-mi, art director of Woochi the Wayfarer, delivered a presentation titled "<Woochi the Wayfarer>: Why Doesn't Joseon in Games Look Like Joseon? Korean Fantasy Art Direction Redefined with UE5," during which a short snippet of in-game footage was unveiled.
The revealed footage showcases the "Pyeongsan" region, which serves as a setting for the game. Pyeongsan is the location where a mysterious shaman appeared in the previously released teaser trailer, and in this video, traditional Korean details are further emphasized.

Developer LoreVault Studio also unveiled another effort to enhance the realism of the game's world. To render village NPC faces more realistically, the team utilized 3D scans of actual staff members. During the session, 3D scan images modeled after real development personnel—including programmers, environment artists, animators, and game designers—were displayed. By placing NPCs based on real people over a fantastically reinterpreted background, this initiative highlights the developers' goal of striking a balance between imagination and realism.

Meanwhile, Woochi the Wayfarer is a new title jointly presented by Nexon Games and LoreVault Studio, building a Joseon-era fantasy world powered by UE5.
