Infinity Ward has released a multiplayer trailer ahead of the Modern Warfare 4 beta test.
On the 20th, a three-minute trailer released on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel showcased overall gameplay footage of the multiplayer mode. The video introduced various elements, including room-clearing combat with shorty shotguns, firefights using K2 rifles, and combat utilizing Apex attachments and killstreaks.
In particular, as this title prominently features South Korea as a main setting, many elements familiar to Korean players appear. In addition to battlefields set in Korea and the K2 rifle, a "Police Shield" appears as a riot shield. The surface of the shield was also confirmed to bear the Hangul text, "Designed and manufactured in Korea."
Meanwhile, 'Modern Warfare 4', which unveiled its multiplayer trailer, will host 'Call of Duty: NEXT' starting on the 22nd—a showcase presenting detailed information about the game—and launch beta early access for pre-order customers. Players will be able to experience not only multiplayer, but also a single campaign mission and a Warzone map beforehand—a first for the Call of Duty series.
'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4' is scheduled to officially release globally on October 23, supporting PS5, Xbox, and PC (Steam and Battle.net) platforms.
