H2 Interactive (CEO Jun-ha Heo) announced that the Korean localized version of Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded, a side-scrolling beat 'em up action game developed in collaboration between City Connection and Irem, will officially launch on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on December 10.
Originally released in 1993, Ninja Baseball Bat Man is a classic arcade masterpiece from developer Irem that gained immense popularity for its unique combination of baseball and ninjas alongside comical action. Returning after over 30 years, this HD remake features new characters, modes, stages, rearranged background music, and refined controls.
In addition to the original four characters—'Red', 'Green', 'Yellow', and 'Blue'—players can now select 'Pink', formerly a support character, as a new playable character, supporting up to four players in local co-op. Beyond the 'Regular Season' mode, which reshapes the original game for widescreen displays, the game introduces a new high-difficulty 'Climax Season' mode featuring altered enemy placements and combinations alongside new stages.
Additionally, dedicated modes are provided to play minigames such as 'Home Run Contest' or 'Car Chase' to compete for high scores. On the audio front, new arranged tracks by composer Yousuke Yasui, known for YO-KAI Disco, are included, allowing players to freely toggle between the original soundtrack and arranged music.
This new title will be available not only digitally but also as physical retail packages for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, with the Nintendo Switch 2 physical edition provided on a game card rather than a key card. A limited edition will also be released alongside the standard edition.
