H2 Interactive (CEO Heo Jun-ha) announced that the Korean version of the belt scroller action game Ninja Baseball Batman: Basis Loaded, developed in collaboration with City Connection and Irem, will officially launch on December 10 for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Originally released in 1993, Ninja Baseball Batman is an arcade classic from Irem that gained immense popularity for its unique blend of baseball and ninja themes, combined with comedic presentation. Returning after more than 30 years, this HD remake features new characters, modes, stages, arranged background music, and improved controls.
Players can now choose 'Pink'—previously a support character—as a new playable character, alongside the original four: 'Red,' 'Green,' 'Yellow,' and 'Blue.' The game supports local co-op for up to four players. It includes a 'Regular Season' mode, reconstructed for widescreen, and a new, high-difficulty 'Climax Season' mode that features remixed enemy placements and combinations, as well as new stages.
Additionally, dedicated modes are available for playing mini-games like 'Home Run Derby' and 'Car Chase' to compete for high scores. On the audio front, the game features new arrangements by composer Yousuke Yasui, known for YO-KAI Disco, allowing players to freely switch between the original soundtrack and the new arrangements.
The new title will be available as both a digital download and a physical package for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 package will be provided as a game card rather than a key card. Both standard and limited editions will be released.
