Black Desert released an update on Wednesday, August 12. This update introduces Edania Part 2, opening new Abyssal Veins and hunting grounds. New bosses and accessories have been added, and the maximum level for adventurers has been set to 70.

- Added Abyssal Vein opening request (Black Spirit) at 'Angabu Outpost,' the central hub for adventures within Edania

- Added 28 sub-requests for areas within Edania (Main requests to be added in a future update)

- Collect 'Tachyon Relics' throughout Edania to exchange for various items

- Added weekly subjugation requests for 4 Edania bosses

- Subjugating a regional boss grants the qualification to become the 'Edana' for that region (use the Token of Challenge after subjugation)

- The selected Edana faces off against challengers every Sunday

- The final winner receives accumulated tax rewards and the Crown of Edana corresponding to each boss

- Added 6 new hunting grounds (Afrodon Temple, Emesia Inner Castle, Magaia Temple, Aresion Temple, Scales of Judgment, Event Horizon)

- Scales of Judgment is a 3-player party hunting ground

- Common drops include Pigment of Genesis, Radiance of Genesis, and Corrupted Oil of Extinction

- Each hunting ground offers specific new Magic Crystals

- Afrodon Temple: Wandering Origin Crystal (Origin), Inix's Spark - Armor, Twilight of Doom - Earring, etc

- Emesia Inner Castle: Wandering Origin Crystal (Root), Inix's Spark - Helmet, Twilight of Doom - Earring/Ring, etc

- Magaia Temple: Wandering Origin Crystal (Truth), Inix's Spark - Shoes, Twilight of Doom - Earring/Ring/Belt, etc

- While final stats are identical, acquisition methods, growth paths, Central Market availability, and enhancement materials differ

- Causality Shards are obtained via 5 Twilight of Doom + 10 Caphras Stones + 10 Magic Shards + 10 Essences of Dawn

- Aperon enhancement requires 10 Twilight of Doom + 10 Caphras Stones + 10 Magic Shards

- Exchange Karazad gear for 0-enhancement/PEN Ecreta via 'Chloris' at Angabu Outpost in Edania

- Accept the request from Inix's Fragment at 'Ancient Foresight' in the cave near Shining Land (requires at least 1 Inix's Spark)

- Collect 100 Inix's Sparks for each part to obtain the corresponding part chest

- Obtain all parts of the Armor of God-Slaying and speak to the NPC to receive the 'God-Slayer' title

- Max level set to 70; no further combat EXP can be earned beyond this point

- Level cap expansion to 75 and EXP structure revamp scheduled for after October 7

- Special title provided to adventurers who reached level 70 or higher as of the August 12 (Wed) maintenance

- Improved: For displayed Attack 397 or higher, bonus Attack increases by 2 for every 2 points of displayed Attack

- Improved: For displayed Attack 401 or higher, additional monster Attack increases by 16 for every 1 point of displayed Attack

- Improved: For displayed Defense 481 or higher, bonus damage reduction increases by 1 for every 5 points of displayed Defense

- Recipe: 5 Refining Stones of the same type + 30 Nev's Fragments + 100 Caphras Stones + 100 Magic Shards + 200 Magic Lightstone Crystals

- Allows crafting of refining stones with more powerful effects

- Recipe: 100 Magahan's Fragments + 100 Pure Iron Ore Crystals + 100 Pure Marble

- Magahan's Fragments = Exchange Magic Lightstone Crystals or Sharp Black Crystal Shards with 'Less' at Angabu Outpost

- Pure Iron Ore Crystals = Iron Ore → Melted Iron Shards → Iron Ingots → Obtained

- Pure Marble = Marble Ore → Polished Marble → Obtained

- Added 'Perfume of Verdure' (upgrade to Perfume of Swiftness) and 'Elixir of Blue Mist' (upgrade to Elixir of Verdure)

- Magic-infused Olivine Powder = Obtained by grinding Olivine Ore and Pure Powder Reagent at a 1:1 ratio

- Added extraction feature to allow for more diverse dyeing options

- Unlimited use with no resource cost

- Radiance of Genesis can be sold to shops for 50 million silver, and Pigment of Genesis for 5 billion silver

- Pigment of Genesis has been re-issued to users who previously used and deleted them
