Set on the continent of Orbis, rendered in Unreal Engine 5, the story follows a boy named Lute who, while traveling toward the kingdom, becomes entangled with the mercenary Johnny and the elf Castella, inadvertently beginning a life as a mercenary. The game features a switching action system where players accumulate status effects using each character's active skills and then chain continuous combos with tag-based signal skills, all wrapped in a classic fantasy aesthetic.
