Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) has launched a major content update for its subculture game 'Higan: Eruthyll,' serviced under its new publishing brand 'select all.' The update includes the opening of a new server, 'world3,' as well as a new character and event story.

The update introduces 'Velotia,' a new SSR character and queen of the succubi in the darkness. Players can obtain her through a pickup recruitment event running until the maintenance on August 20. Velotia is a warrior character from the dazzling Golden Federation, themed as a 'Witch of the Blood Night.' She serves as a core damage dealer in burn-based teams, capable of inflicting massive damage on enemies. Additionally, she possesses a rare HP-locking effect, allowing her to protect the party from intense enemy offensives at the start of battle and during her ultimate skill duration, making her a valuable asset in both burn-focused and other team compositions.

A new event story, 'Labyrinth of the Crimson Night,' has also been released, following the search for the truth behind the missing legendary singer 'Yingge.' Accompanying this are exclusive events and new shop items, the 'Labyrinth of the Crimson Night Package' and 'Witch's Temptation.' With the conclusion of the previous pickup event, the existing SSR character 'Yari' has been added to the 'Resplendent Recruitment' and 'Starry Sky Recruitment' pools, as well as various chest items such as the 'SSR Character Special Selection Secret Collection' and 'Spirit Essence-SSR.'

The new cross-server duel content, 'Group Performance Stage S1,' which allows players to compete against one another, has officially begun. Players can enter the 'Group Performance Stage' upon reaching level 50. The mode involves matching with a leader from another server and engaging in a best-of-three battle using three parties. Players can challenge the mode using 'Entry Keys,' which replenish up to three times daily at 10:30 PM. During the season, which runs from August 6 to August 30 at 9:59 PM, players can receive substantial ranking rewards, including 'Glory Crystals,' via mail based on their real-time rankings. A new round of 'Competition on Stage' will also begin on August 10 at 12:00 PM.

System improvements have been implemented to support player progression. In addition to the opening of 'world3' for new users, one 'Heavy Stamina Supplement' (which restores 60 stamina) has been added to each reward tier from stage 1 to 5 of the Alliance Requests. Furthermore, one 'Massive Stamina Supplement' (which restores 120 stamina) has been added to the completion rewards for Adventure Chapters 3, 4, and 5. Players on the 'world1' and 'world2' servers who have already cleared these areas will receive these supplements retroactively if they log in by August 13 at 11:59 AM.

Nexon has also addressed several issues to improve game convenience, including standardizing the name of the character 'Karen,' fixing Chinese text display issues in the UI, and resolving a bug where rewards were not being issued for the 'Extreme' difficulty of the 'Raid' 'Light-Speed Vanguard Group.' As an apology for these errors, players who log in by August 13 will receive a package via mail containing 14 'Dazzling Golden Crystal Astrolabes,' 28 'Cool Purple Crystal Astrolabes,' 2800 'Ancient Dream Crystals,' 260 'Spirit Essence-Luco,' and 500 'Starlight.'
