New Magic-type Hero: Dong-yeong
Focus on Poison and Fear
A new Legend-grade hero from the Shinji faction, Dong-yeong, has been added to Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. Dong-yeong is a Magic-type hero characterized by his ability to pressure enemies using Poison and Fear, while providing shields and increased Magic damage to allies.
His passive, 'Companion of the Underworld,' is central to his kit. It increases his Effect Accuracy proportional to his Attack and allows him to revive in an 'Indomitable' state upon death. He provides all allies with increased Magic damage and restores health when Indomitable is triggered. Additionally, every time allies use a skill twice, he deals damage to all enemies and inflicts Poison and reduced healing received. At Transcendence level 2, he grants immunity to all damage to Magic-type allies in the same row, and at level 6, the number of hits allowed while Indomitable increases based on ally deaths, while also inflicting Magic vulnerability on all enemies
Poison is an effect that deals damage proportional to the target's max health every turn and is considered a Poison effect. Skill enhancements increase basic attack damage. Along with the aforementioned passive, Poison can be applied to enemies through basic attacks and his second skill, 'Touch of the Abyss.
His first skill, 'Breath of the Underworld,' attacks all enemies and deals additional fixed damage if the target is poisoned. It also provides all allies with a shield proportional to the caster's Magic attack power. His second skill, 'Touch of the Abyss,' deals piercing damage to all enemies and applies both Fear and Poison.

Dong-yeong Ascension Also Released
Knox Also Receives Ascension, Enhancing Instant Death Utility
Ascended Dong-yeong retains the structure of his base form while featuring enhanced basic attacks and existing skills. His basic attacks now deal more damage and have a higher chance to inflict Poison. His first skill, 'Breath of the Underworld,' sees increased damage to all enemies, higher fixed damage against poisoned targets, and a stronger shield for allies.
His second skill, 'Touch of the Abyss,' also gains increased damage and Poison probability in its Ascended state. The core mechanics of dealing piercing damage, Fear, and Poison to all enemies remain. His passive, 'Companion of the Underworld,' is also upgraded: triggering Indomitable now increases his Ascension gauge, and the Magic damage buff and health recovery provided to allies are both increased.
His Ascension skill, 'Sentence of Mortality,' targets all enemies. It deals damage based on Magic attack power and adds fixed damage if the target is poisoned. It also reduces the target's turn-based buffs, making Dong-yeong highly efficient against poisoned enemies after Ascension.
Among existing heroes, Knox has been selected for Ascension. Knox's Ascension skill, 'Abyssal Sword Wind,' deals damage to all enemies with a 30% chance of instant death and a 100% chance to remove two buffs. When the Ascension skill is enhanced, it also grants all allies 16 seconds of cooldown reduction.

Quality-of-Life and Other Improvements
New Arena Mode and Equipment Improvements
Several in-game system changes have been implemented. First, a new 'Accessory Banned' mode has been added to the Advanced Arena. In this mode, accessory effects of all grades are disabled, and accessory stats and crafting effects do not apply. Aside from the accessory ban, the rules remain the same as the standard Advanced Arena. This season's Accessory Banned mode will run until 2:00 AM on August 20.
A 'Sweep' function has been added to the Boss Expedition. Sweeps are available for the four former Four Lords bosses and are based on the highest score recorded by the player's current guild. One sweep costs 100 Rubies and one entry resource for that boss. There is no limit to the number of sweeps as long as the player has enough entry resources, and multiple sweeps can be set at once.
A 'Popular Team Info' feature has been added to Guild Wars. Players can view high-usage team compositions from the previous round on the attack and defense formation pages, and a 'Copy Team' function is also provided. Popular team data is aggregated based on formation, heroes, and pets, using information from the major Guild War groups.

Equipment and accessory management has also been improved. Enhanced equipment can now be reset and re-enhanced without switching tabs, and a 'Re-enhance' button has been added to the result screen. An 'Auto-Redistribute' function has been introduced for equipment reconstruction; players can set desired options and levels, and the system will automatically redistribute until the conditions are met. Up to one option can be locked to prevent changes.
Random accessory crafting is now more convenient. Multiple accessories can be registered as materials at once, and players can set a target option to automatically craft until that option appears. Exclusive equipment can now be dismantled directly from the enhance and tune menus, and the dismantle screen has been updated to hide currently equipped items.
In addition, team formation and filter functions have been improved. In Sena Chess, after completing a Wish Hero summon, players can spend 300k Gold to reset the chessboard once after reaching a minimum of 40 draws. Season 15 of the Tower of Trials begins, with adjustments to medal conditions and monster placements on certain floors. While difficulty and mechanics have been increased, cumulative medal rewards have also been improved. Satisfying the 50-medal requirement grants a 4-star Legend Accessory.
New costumes have been added: 'Lifeguard' (Unique) for Dong-yeong, 'Summer Wave' (Unique) for Nata, and 'Secret Vacation' (Unique) for Shane. Dong-yeong and Nata's costumes can be purchased in the Costume Shop, while Shane's 'Secret Vacation' can be obtained first through the Summer Hot Attendance Event and will be available for purchase with Rubies in the shop after the event ends.

New Event Summary
Scenario Event Requires 318 Clears
The new scenario event, 'Midsummer Salt Island Vacation,' has begun. Similar to previous events, players enjoy the story and then collect additional resources through repeated battles in challenge stages to exchange for event items. Based on repeated battles in Nightmare Challenge Stage A6, 318 plays are required to obtain all items in the event shop (excluding 1k Gold).
Beyond the scenario event, players can participate in various seasonal events. The 'Summer Vacation Special Event' rewards players based on the number of times they participate in Pick-up Summons. Rewards include Hero Summon Tickets, Pick-up Summon Tickets, Key Chests, Shining Skill Enhancement Stones, and Tuning Stones. Notably, reaching 150 Pick-up Summons grants Dong-yeong's exclusive equipment.
The 'Summer Hot Attendance Event' offers rewards for logging in for 7 days. Day 1 grants the 'Secret Vacation' Shane costume, and Day 3 grants a 'Summer Hot Shane Equipment Chest.' Other rewards include Gold, a 6-star Unique Accessory Selection Chest, Hero Summon Tickets, and Key Chests, with a 5-star Legend Accessory Chest provided on the 7th day.
Biscuit's Anvil' allows players to obtain enhancement requests through adventure clears, attendance, and raid clears to challenge virtual enhancements. Rankings are determined based on success, with rewards for the top 100 adventurers, as well as rewards based on the number of enhancement attempts. Since this event relies on luck to increase enhancement levels, players are encouraged to participate without pressure.
