Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced on the 5th that it has released a 3rd-anniversary update for its collectible animation RPG, Tower of God: NEW WORLD (developed by Netmarble N2), introducing the new Family Head-grade teammate, Yeon Yihwa.

Yeon Yihwa is the head of the Yeon Family, one of the Great Ten Families, and is considered one of the most powerful Flame Users in the Tower. In the game, she is classified as a Family Head-grade character, joining the ranks of FUG leader Luslec, Family Head Gustang, Family Head Traumerei, Wolhaiksong's Urek Mazino, and Family Head Khun Eduan.

Her combat strengths lie in applying Burn effects and blocking HP recovery. She accumulates continuous damage on enemies with a powerful, unresistable Burn effect and unleashes an ultimate skill in the center of the battlefield that deals damage proportional to HP. Additionally, she possesses the ability to completely block all enemy HP recovery.

To celebrate the update, Netmarble is hosting the 'Labyrinth of Memories' event, where players can explore her story, and a launch event that rewards players with Yeon Yihwa upon completing missions, both running until August 19. A 10% discount coupon for the web shop is also being provided. Separately, a first-time special event offers rewards such as SSR+ Tower Blessing Breakthrough Stones, a Yeon Yihwa Title, and a Title Background based on the number of times players summon her.

Changes have also been made to the growth system. With the addition of the Revolution growth system, players can now develop high-grade teammates more deeply. The 'Tower Marble' event, where players can obtain Revolution items, is being held alongside the 'White's Lottery' event (offering Master Keys) and the 'Lucky Spin' event (offering Black Market Tickets).

The 3rd-anniversary event lineup is extensive. The 'Non-stop SSR+ Summon' event, running until August 19, allows players to select their desired SSR+ teammates, making them easier to acquire and limit-break. Including the 'Shining Mago' released in May and pre-registration rewards, players can receive up to 2000 SSR+ Summon Tickets.

The 'Ha Jinsung's FUG Recruitment' friend invitation event is also underway. In this event, users form mentor-mentee relationships and complete missions together to earn various rewards. Additionally, the 3rd-anniversary daily mission event allows players to earn growth rewards—such as Family Head-grade backgrounds, Revolution Fragments, and 3rd-anniversary Non-stop SSR+ Tickets—simply by playing the game. All events conclude on August 19.
