'Overwatch' characters are coming to Fortnite.

On the 14th, Fortnite announced the arrival of Overwatch characters via its official YouTube channel. The four characters joining the game through this collaboration are Tracer, who uses time-reversal abilities; D.Va, the Korean pilot who utilizes a mech in combat; Genji, who wields a dragon blade; and the healer Mercy.

The 30-second trailer shows Mercy appearing in the same composition as her original Overwatch trailer, D.Va and Genji preparing for battle together, and Tracer using her signature teleportation to take down enemies, just as she does in Overwatch.

The collaboration is titled 'Answer The Call,' fitting the Overwatch theme. The update will go live on May 15 (KST).

Meanwhile, this collaboration follows Fortnite's recent partnership with Lucasfilm for a Star Wars event, which was well-received for its variety of items and content based on the Star Wars IP.
