Tencent reported total revenue of CN¥196.458 billion (approx. ₩43.207 trillion) for the first quarter of 2026, a 9% increase year-on-year. Operating profit reached CN¥67.375 billion (approx. ₩14.8178 trillion), up 17% from the same period last year, with the operating margin rising 2 percentage points from 32% to 34%. Net profit grew 19% to CN¥59.392 billion (approx. ₩13.0621 trillion).

Domestic (Chinese) gaming revenue rose 6% to CN¥45.4 billion (approx. ₩9.9848 trillion). Major titles such as 'Honor of Kings,' 'Peacekeeper Elite,' and 'Delta Force' achieved record-high quarterly revenue, while 'Valorant Mobile' also contributed as a key revenue driver.
'Delta Force' met Tencent's criteria for an 'Evergreen Game' this quarter (defined as having a quarterly average of 5 million mobile DAU or 2 million PC DAU, and over CN¥4 billion in annual gross revenue). Tencent explained that because the Lunar New Year fell later than last year, some revenue recognition was deferred to the next quarter, causing the gross revenue growth rate (mid-teens) to significantly outpace the recognized revenue growth rate (6%).
Overseas gaming revenue reached CN¥18.8 billion (approx. ₩4.1347 trillion), a 13% increase year-on-year. Supercell's 'Clash Royale,' Kuro Games' 'Wuthering Waves,' and the PC version of 'Valorant' served as the primary revenue sources.
While Tencent did not disclose the specific amount, it stated that 'Peacekeeper Elite' recorded its highest-ever quarterly revenue. 'Peacekeeper Elite' operates under a licensing structure for the PUBG IP held by Krafton.
