NC's Lineage W released an update on Wednesday, May 13. This week's update includes a renewal of the Prison of Requiem, the addition of a card shop, and updates to items in the Honor Shop.

The rules for the Prison of Requiem have been changed. The dungeon now begins with all doors already generated, and a 'Lantern of Requiem' is placed in each room. Using the Lantern of Requiem in a room summons the 'Black Flame Ghost King,' and the number of Magatama required varies by room. Portals are accessible based on the player's 'Blessing of the Immortal' rank, and all doors open when the 'Mu-hwa' appears. All doors close upon defeating the Mu-hwa or at 22:00 on Wednesdays.

Additionally, the entry requirements for party dungeons have been adjusted. Players can now enter the Talking Island Baphomet dungeon, Garden of Desires, and Whispering Sea Kraken dungeon solo. A party dungeon boss defeat event will run until the maintenance on Wednesday, May 27, rewarding players with a 'Bond Loot Box.'

The 'Guardian's Ring' event will run until the maintenance on Wednesday, May 27. Players can use enhancement scrolls on a Guardian's Ring purchased from the exchange to create a 'Guardian's Box.' The type of box received depends on the enhancement level, ranging from +3 to +9, and these scrolls can be obtained in 11 designated event areas.
