Monarch's Milestone' is a system designed to guide new and returning players of Solo Leveling: Arise in quickly finding their footing and acquiring the combat power needed to enjoy various content.

Upon logging into the game, you will see the Monarch's Milestone banner in the center-right of the screen. Clicking it will reveal three tabs: Journey, Growth, and Challenge.

The first step is the 'Journey' tab. Journey consists of simple missions focused on clearing the story. To claim all rewards from Journey 1 through 31, you simply need to clear up to Normal Main Story Chapter 31, Episode 7. Each individual mission offers its own rewards, and clearing each milestone grants S-rank weapons for Sung Jinwoo or S-rank hunter-and-weapon sets. This ensures that new players with limited rosters can strengthen their decks and keep up with the story without hitting walls.

While some of the rewards may include hunters or weapons that are less commonly used in the long run, they are far superior to the random SR or R-grade gear a new player might otherwise be stuck with. It is best to make the most of these provided items while aiming for newer hunters and weapons.

Once you clear the Journey sections, the 'Growth' and 'Challenge' tabs will unlock. The Growth tab is structured to help you naturally boost your overall account level by introducing you to content like upgrading Sung Jinwoo and your hunters, the Armory, and the Shadows.

Clearing the required missions helps you understand the character growth systems. You will level up weapons and hunters while also increasing the stats of your Shadow Army to boost your team's combat power. In particular, it bypasses the time-consuming resource gathering usually required for Shadow Army development, bringing them up to a certain level immediately. This provides a very smooth experience for new players to catch up, while also rewarding them with gold, growth materials, and SSR hunters.

One thing to note: in the 'Basic Growth' chapter of the Growth tab, some missions do not retroactively count content you have already cleared. For instance, missions like 'Clear Gates 2 times' or 'Clear Instance Dungeons 2 times' only count progress made while that specific step is active. Therefore, when working through the Growth tab, I recommend not using all your dungeon entry keys at once; instead, check the tab and run the specific content it asks for.

The final tab, 'Challenge,' is where you learn about serious farming and high-tier content. You will participate in Instance Dungeons, Throne of Power, Workshop of Brilliant Light, and seasonal content.

For those new to the game, Instance Dungeons are where you farm equipment, known as 'Artifacts.' Since a hunter's combat power varies drastically based on their gear and upgrade level, I recommend prioritizing this content.

When farming, you can select which of the four sets to prioritize in the 'Reward Settings' window. By clicking the 'Target Hunter' button at the bottom left, you can see which hunters need which sets and what the effective stats are. Early on, I recommend locking in 'Expert's Blue Venom' for Sung Jinwoo, your main dealer, and farming 'Outstanding Greed' for Breakers or 'Noble Body' for Supporters. 'Kamish's Wrath' is gear for the 'Stacker' class, but since Monarch's Milestone does not provide Stacker hunters, new players do not need it immediately.

Throne of Power is content where the goal is to deal as much damage as possible to a boss within a set time. While the existence of rankings might feel intimidating, the tutorial section for beginners is very easy and only requires one party, making it quick to clear.

Workshop of Brilliant Light involves taking on the powerful Monarchs and their Commanders from the story. As one of the game's highest-difficulty contents, a recent update removed some farming elements and turned it into a place to farm Amplification Materials, Mana Crystals, and Hunter Weapon Blueprints. While the latest stages have very high combat power requirements, you don't need to challenge the hardest ones right away. You can easily reach a level where you can clear early versions like the Demon Castle or the subsequent Tower of the Sealed Realm as you progress through the Milestone.

Seasonal content refers to items under the 'Trial of the Strong' menu, including Battlefield of Time and Archive of the Observer. The goal of Battlefield of Time is to defeat bosses—which are released one by one each week—as quickly as possible; clearing within 2 minutes grants all rewards.

In the Archive of the Observer, you select hunters to use upon entry and must deploy them strategically to clear the final round. Since hunters have a limited number of deployments, the strategy is to use less-developed hunters in lower-difficulty stages and save your well-developed ones for high-difficulty stages. There are Normal, Ancient, and Forbidden difficulties; I recommend that new players start with Normal due to their limited hunter pools.

I have briefly explained these various types of content, but there is absolutely no need to try and memorize everything in advance. If you just play by following the given missions, you will naturally learn and master the content. Don't be intimidated—just take it slow and enjoy the challenge.
