On the 7th, Dplus KIA snapped their losing streak with a 2-0 victory over kt Rolster during the second round of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season at LoL Park in Jonggak. The team secured a thrilling win by mounting comebacks in both games after trailing early on.
In Game 1, KT Rolster escaped a four-game set losing streak. The performance was encouraging, as they turned the tide from a disadvantageous position thanks to a strong showing in the bottom lane, where they had previously struggled. In particular, Kim 'Aiming' Ha-ram's Ashe played a pivotal role, securing a double kill in the bottom lane through an ambush and picking up additional kills by surprising the enemy on the side lanes.
Conversely, Dplus KIA failed to capitalize on their leads, playing too passively to snowball the game. Although Heo 'ShowMaker' Su's Orianna showed immense growth, securing three kills and maintaining a CS rate well over 10 per minute, the team rarely utilized this advantage in teamfights. Ultimately, after picking off Choi 'Lucid' Yong-hyeok's Xin Zhao, KT Rolster headed to Baron, secured multiple kills, and completed the comeback.
In Game 2, 'ShowMaker's' Viktor broke the balance by scoring two solo kills in the mid lane. The fact that Gwak 'Bdd' Bo-seong's Taliyah was neutralized was a major setback for KT Rolster. With Jeon 'Siwoo' Si-woo's Jayce and Shin 'Smash' Geum-jae's Caitlyn also growing well in the top and bottom lanes, Dplus KIA took the lead as their three-carry composition displayed overwhelming firepower in teamfights.
KT Rolster needed to buy time, and their pick-off plays on the side lanes proved crucial. By taking down the Jayce and then the Viktor, they successfully slowed Dplus KIA's momentum. It was also a boon that the kill on Viktor went to 'Aiming's' Varus. Having steadily grown, Varus soon became significantly stronger than the Caitlyn, and KT Rolster, now able to match their opponents' firepower, turned the game around with a victory in a dragon teamfight. With that, KT Rolster completed another comeback in Game 2 to seal the 2-0 series win.
