LINE Games (co-CEOs Cho Dong-hyun and Bae Young-jin) announced on the 7th that it has appointed Yoo Tae-woong, former CEO of Neptune and Nimble Neuron, as its new Head of Management (Vice President) to oversee the company's internal operations.
This appointment is part of a strategy to strengthen business competitiveness following the launch of LINE Games' new co-CEO leadership structure. After graduating from Seoul National University with a degree in business administration, Vice President Yoo worked at Hangame and Naver before joining Neptune as a founding member in 2012. He is credited with managing Neptune's overall business and operations, driving the company's early growth and its KOSDAQ listing.
As co-CEO of Neptune, Yoo led the company's integration into the Kakao group and stabilized its management structure. In 2024, as co-CEO of Nimble Neuron, he contributed to the company's turnaround to profitability. In particular, he secured significant momentum for Neptune to achieve record-high performance by streamlining operations and expanding the service of its self-developed title, 'Eternal Return.'
LINE Games plans to leverage Vice President Yoo's extensive management experience—spanning from the company's early stages to post-IPO operations—to upgrade its internal management systems. Through this, the company aims to focus on building a robust foundation for sustainable growth in the global market.
Expressing his gratitude for taking on the key role of Head of Management at LINE Games, Vice President Yoo stated his commitment to strengthening the company's internal operations to ensure it has a solid system in place to maximize global performance.
