Gravity Game Vision (GGV), Gravity's Hong Kong branch, announced on the 14th that it has opened pre-registration for the open-world MMORPG 'Ragnarok: The New World' in Southeast Asia.

Pre-registration is now open across Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia, and will continue until the official launch. Players can sign up via the official Ragnarok: The New World pre-registration page or through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in their respective regions.

Ragnarok: The New World is the first open-world MMORPG based on the Ragnarok IP, characterized by the freedom to explore a vast field. It is the first game in the series to introduce flying mounts, allowing players to traverse the Midgard continent by air. Players can also enjoy a personalized experience through unrestricted class changes and flexible skill combinations. The game enhances convenience by reducing the time required for repetitive content and supporting offline auto-battle features, while offering unique fun through various lifestyle content such as a couple system, real-time street stalls, and character customization.

The game was previously launched in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau last January under the title 'RO: The New World.' During the pre-download phase, which opened one day before the official launch, it ranked first in free popular games on the Apple App Store in all three regions. Immediately after launch, it topped the Apple App Store's top-grossing charts in all three regions. Notably, it also ranked first in overall free app popularity across all three regions, while reaching number one in top-grossing in Taiwan and Macau, and second in Hong Kong.

Gravity Game Vision (GGV) has prepared a variety of benefits for pre-registration participants in Southeast Asia. Depending on the number of pre-registrations reached, players will receive tiered rewards after the official launch, including fashion dyes, elegant dyes, a DJ Poring custom headgear, and 100,000 Bound Zeny, all delivered via in-game mail. By inviting friends through the official pre-registration page, players can also earn additional rewards such as warehouse expansion tickets, Cupid's arrows, and 100,000 Bound Zeny based on the number of invites.
