With the departure of Polt, Moment, and Asper, T1 announced that Bae “Bengi” Seong-woong has officially joined the team as the head coach for the 2023 season.

Bengi joined T1’s LCK roster as a coach for the 2022 season, alongside Polt and Moment. Amidst all the noise that T1 had surrounding in and outside the game, Bengi was promoted to interim head coach for Worlds 2022, and had a huge part in turning around the atmosphere of the team. He led the team to a second place finish at Worlds 2022, in his first term as interim head coach.

Meanwhile, with Polt departing from the team, the general manager position for T1 remains empty, and only Kim “Sky” Ha-neul remains in the coaching staff for T1. Much attention is on who will support Bengi and his coaching staff for the 2023 season.
