Inven and Fandom Announce Strategic Partnership for the Global Game Marketing Service

(November 17, 2022) - Today, Korea’s leading game media outlet Inven (CEO, Seo Hyung-Joon), and America’s leading game and entertainment platform Fandom (CEO, Perkins Miller), announced their strategic partnership to support Korean game companies entering the global market.

Through this partnership, Inven and Fandom will produce customized advertisements and sponsored content with the Korean game companies planning to release their games in the United States, Europe, and other English-speaking countries — appealing to gamers worldwide.

Promotion will be available via booths at huge video game conventions like E3 and Gamescom. Additionally, unique and creative digital events through global social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok will take place through this partnership.

Recently, Fandom acquired a total of seven North American game and entertainment media outlets, such as GameSpot, Giant Bomb, and Metacritic. With more than 350 million monthly visitors and over 250,000 wiki communities, they have accelerated their transformation into a global game platform.

With 19 years of knowledge and content production through gaming webzines and communities, Inven will aid in building special Wikis for the Korean game companies in Fandom.

Inven’s CEO, Seo Hyung-Joon, commented, “I’m thrilled to announce this strategic partnership with Fandom at this year’s G-Star. Spurring towards something beyond gaming media, Inven is building a strategy and vision of a marketing solution that will allow the Korean game industry to break into the global market and will continue to strive for its growth and development. We ask for your interest and support in the industry and gaming community.”

Fandom’s Managing Director, Yamini Joshi added: “Fandom is home to over 115    million highly engaged gaming fans each month across 17 million pages of content within over 100,000 gaming communities. We offer reference, news, reviews, discussions on anything and everything gaming fans want, and we look forward to working with Inven to bring our product to market in the Korean marketplace.”
