According to a report by Alejandro "anonimotum" Gomis of Blix.GG, the popular French esports organization Karmine Corp has reached a verbal agreement Evil Geniuses AD carry Muhammed "Kaori" Şentürk — marking their first time competing in the LFL. The news comes after the TCL veteran competed in both the 2022 LCS Championship, and the 2022 League of Legends World Championship.

Kaori has competed in the League scene for more than four years — initially playing with teams such as DP Academy, Istanbul Wildcats, and SuperMassive. He eventually moved to the North American scene with EG Academy, and initially did not have strong team results with the lineup.

After EG's LCS AD carry Kyle "Danny" Sakamaki stepped away from pro play because of mental health issues, Kaori joined the main roster and helped the organization secure entry into Worlds 2022.  The team qualified for the main event after a solid performance in Play-Ins, before dropping out in Group B with a 1-5 record.

There have been no announcements or reports on whom EG's LCS AD carry will be next year, as there has also been a report by Sander Hove of The Game Haus that Danny is expected to miss the 2023 season. There have been several other major changes made by Evil Geniuses, such as the exit of coaching staff lead Peter Dun earlier this month.

Kaori was seen as a very promising prospect throughout the year, with Dun stating in an interview that, "You look at his CS-differential at 10 in Academy: it's 16.5. It's a plus 16.5 CS differential on average, which is crazy. And he had the highest damage in team fight share of any AD carry, despite not being on a top team — EG Academy were a mid-table team. But he consistently had incredible numbers."
