The Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has become the current second most subscribed streamer, after only creating content for the website for less than two years.  At the time of publishing this article, he has more than 60,000 Twitch subscribers — his statistics showing a fairly even balance between paid, Prime, and gifted subscriptions. Other streamers that make up the top five are Hasan "HasanAbi" Piker,  Félix "xQc" Lengyel, Casimiro "Casimiro" Miguel, and Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff.

The content creator currently has almost two million followers on the platform, and regularly commands live audiences in the tens of thousands. Kai Cenat streamed his enthusiastic reaction to passing the milestone.

Kai Cenat was also enthusiastic on his Twitter account, stating "60K subs on Twitch accomplished, this unbelievable love y’all so much!" The mark is especially impressive when considering that Cenat surpassed fifty thousand subscribers on August 17th of this year, and forty thousand only twelve days before that. 

Cenat rose to prominence as a content creator as a YouTuber with the group Any Means Possible — a collective a sports and gaming creators that make content centered around pranks and skits. On his personal YouTube channel, Cenat possesses two million subscribers, and regularly attains more than one million views per video. 

According to available Twitch statistics Cenat began streaming last year in February. After initially entertaining an audience of a few thousand at any given time, he exploded in popularity later in the year to become one of the most popular streamers on the website. Whether his subscriber count will slow down is unknown. In the past, streamers such as Ironmouse, Miyoung "kkatamina" Kim, and Ludwig Aghren have all attained high subscriber counts through "subathons". Other popular streamers in the past such as Ninja have also accumulated impressive numbers as well.
