OP.GG signs sponsorship deal with LCK

Global game service platform OP.GG announced today that it has signed an official sponsorship deal with  League of Legends Champions Korea(LCK). LCK, the Korean professional league of the world’s largest esports, League of Legends(LoL) esports, is one of the most popular leagues of LoL esports in Korea as well as globally.

 

Through the sponsorship, OG.GG will be able to effectively promote its brand to LoL esports fans all over the world, while also supporting the success of LCK’s 2022 Summer and 2023 Spring Splits, which will be kicking off today and early next spring, respectively.

 

OP.GG has recently made a series of valuable contributions to the advancement of esports, including the acquisition of Korea’s flagship esports broadcasting station OGN, and entering partnerships with multiple Korean esports teams. Sangrak Choi, CEO of OP.GG stated, “We are excited to be able to continue our contribution to the growth of esports through this sponsorship,” adding, “Since the very beginning, OP.GG has had a close relationship with LoL, which makes this partnership with LCK a more meaningful partnership between the two companies.”

 

OP.GG will also be sponsoring Wild Rift Champions Korea(WCK) during the same period. WCK is the Korean professional esports league for the mobile game Wild Rift, which had a successful spring season earlier this year.
