For Nintendo fans anxiously awaiting Japan to open up to tourists, we have good news. Super Nintendo World is coming to Universal Studios Hollywood as well in 2023. 

Nintendo has been making a lot of announcements due to Mario Day. One of the most exciting was the reveal of Super Nintendo World. The park will be coming sometime in 2023, although the exact date is currently unclear, briging exclusive merch and fun Nintendo-themed experiences to fans in North America. 

Amusement park super fans have known of Hollywood's Super Nintendo World for the past few years. It was first announced around 2015 when the partnership was initially revealed. Since then, theme park afficianados have been closely watching the progress of Super Nintendo World, sharing progress on forums and blogs. 

Theme Park Tribune shared an abundance of photos of Super Nintendo World being built, including the highly anticipated Mario Kart exprience building. 

While awaiting the opening of the park, fans of Nintendo can get their hands on exclusive merch at Universal Studios Hollywood. 

Just like Japan's Super Nintendo World, California's will feature a Mario Kart experirence, a Yoshi's Adventure train ride, and even a Donkey Kong-themed area in a few years. It's unclear what else will be included, like Japan's Toad-themed resturaunt and interactive bracelet activities.
