Today, the partnership between Riot Games and Aim Lab got a big upgrade. Now the official training partner of the Valorant Champions Tour, Aim Lab has announced it's plan on releasing a new suite of products specifically tooled for competitive VALORANT fans.
Kasra Jafroodi, Head of Global Strategy for VALORANT Esports, had this to say about the reveal:
“We’re excited to unlock a new way for our fans to experience the most epic moments from the 2021 VALORANT Champions tour. Aim Lab puts VALORANT players in the driver's seat, allowing them to find out how they would measure up against the performances of the most skilled pro players in the most challenging situations our game can offer.”
Aim Lab plans on releasing a variety of challenging tasks sourced from the most epic plays of the 2021 VALORANT Champions Tour. After each attempt, players will be given feedback and results in the form of easily readable datable.
Surprisingly, this new content also comes with the release of a rhythm game based on “Die for You,” the musical anthem composed by Riot Games. Players can play this mode to practice their mechanical skills in an entirely different way while enjoying the rocking theme.
Dr. Wayne Mackey, Founder and CEO of Aim Lab breaks down his team's mission:
“We are thrilled to expand our partnership globally with Riot Games and the VALORANT Champions Tour. The competitive nature of VALORANT drives the community to search for new tools to help them improve their gaming skills, creating a natural fit with Aim Lab’s mission to help gamers get better at the games they love. By building tasks based on historic scenarios, we’re providing a new and engaging way for fans to experience their favorite sport. And by expanding our partnership footprint, we are able to better help VALORANT players around the world."
