Optic Scump wins $100,000 WSOW Solo Yolo championship

Call of Duty Legend Optic Scump took a day off playing standard professional Call of Duty and being one of the best players ever, to win the World Series of Warzone Solo Yolo championship on Wednesday. He overcame a sea of Riot Shield wielding players and ended the match by winning a gun duel with NYSL's Aydan to take home the $100,000 prize.

 

With the large prize pool, Optic Scump has officially surpassed $1,000,000 USD in earnings from competing in Call of Duty. He joins an exclusive club along with NYSL Crimsix, NYSL Clayster, ATL FaZe Simp, ATL FaZe aBeZy, and ATL FaZe Alec, according to OpTic Hitch.

Scump is one of the most experience Call of Duty pros active today. He started playing the game professionally in 2011, and has competed for the likes of OpTic, Team Envy, CHicago Huntsmen, and now joins the recently merged Empire and OpTic team OpTic Texas for the 2022 CDL season.
