The Los Angeles Gladiators continue their overhaul of their team this offseason. Earlier last month, they chose not to re-sign Roni "LhCloudy" Tiihonen, Min-seok "OGE" Son, Jason "Jaru" White who went on to retire,  Hyung-seok "Bischu" "Aaron" Kim who is moving forward from playing to seeking coaching or managing opportunities in Overwatch or League of Legends, and Benjamin "BigG00se" Isohanni and Jonas "Shaz" Suovaara, who was part of the original starting roster since the inaugural season.  The Gladiators started their offseason adding Young-hun "MuZe" Kim to the team.

MuZe is a South Korean player, mainly playing in Contenders for teams like Talon Esports and Eternal Academy, prior to signing with the Gladiators for the 2021 season. He is a main tank player who has shown great poise and potential during his Contenders days. Now, he proved that he is ready for the big stage in the Overwatch League next season.

Initial reports of MuZe signing to an OWL team started with well-known Overwatch reporter, Halo. He reported that MuZe was going to sign with the Florida Mayhem, as well as current London Spitfire player, Gyu-min "SanGuiNar" Lim. However, MuZe to Mayhem was proven to be false.

The Los Angeles Gladiators had an underwhelming 2020 season. Gladiators fans were looking to see the team go from a mid-tier team to a championship team. There are excuses for their underwhelming season like the current pandemic, adapting to the online format, and meta changes, but the Gladiators is not able to improve their results from previous seasons.

The Gladiators add MuZe to a solid roster with Indy "SPACE" Halpern, Ji-hyeok "birdring" Kim, Gia Huy "Chris" "MirroR" Trịnh, and Kevin "kevster" Persson. There is a possibility that the Gladiators may add another tank to their roster if they want to slowly integrate MuZe to the starting lineup. On the other hand, pairing MuZe with SPACE, who is an off-tank player, can be an all-star tank duo. MuZe can learn a lot from SPACE, whose been in the league since the inaugural season, will be able to learn and adapt from his mistakes with SPACE.

If he does not work out for the Gladiators, he can be a trading chip for other teams in the league. However, MuZe has the potential to be an all-star player and can be the player to carry the Gladiators into their next generation of stars.
