According to a report by ESPN Esports, Team Vitality has initiated its roster moves for the 2021 season, signing AGO Rogue's Top Laner Mathias "Szygenda" Jensen. The buyout is set to be finalized after November 16th.

The rookie player will be replacing Lucas "Cabochard" Simon-Meslet,  who has been part of Vitality's roster for nearly five years and is now set to become a free agent for the upcoming year. Szygenda has played professionally since the year 2018, passing through teams like Nordavind and Origen's BCN.

Team Vitality's 2020 season started off turbulent, with VISA complications making it impossible to bring Aljoša "Milica" Kovandžić to Germany,  meaning Vitality Bee's Academy Mid LanerLucas "Saken" Fayard was deployed to play in his place. The team started off to a 0-6 score, failing to make it to playoffs in the Spring Split, and ending with a 2-16 score. In the following Split, the team had managed to make roster adjustments, bring in Milica, and secure seven wins in the championship.
