Inven Global is streaming esports lectures for aspiring industry professionals

Esports has been forced to adjust in recent weeks due to the COVID-19 outbreak evolving into a full-scale global pandemic, and the Inven Global team has been hard at work to find new ways to connect with the esports and gaming communities online.

Inven Global now has a channel on Twitch, and the team has started to utilize the channel for streaming panels that were going to be part of the 2020 Inven Global Esports Conference before the statewide lockdown in California.

Inven Global's podcast has been moved to a more interactive video format via Twitch, and most recently, Director of Corporate Strategy Nick D'Orazio has been holding online lectures for aspiring esports professionals looking to break into the industry. The first lecture, which was streamed on Tuesday, March 31st, focused on content creation in gaming and esports journalism, an area in which D'Orazio possesses a decade and a half of experience in a multitude of mediums.

The most recent lecture, which took place on Tuesday, April 7th, covered the vast topic of building the authentic brand required for a long-lasting career in esports. Competitive gaming and the surrounding media landscape are everchanging, and the pace of which it continues to morph has become exponentially more rapid with technological advancements.  Recently, Riot Games' upcoming tactical shooter, VALORANT, has expanded the discussion of sustainable esports careers.
