European OW Team REUNITED comes back as eUnited

eUNITED, a North American gaming team that has teams in FPS games such as Call of Duty and CS:GO, has signed on the former members of REUNITED to its roster.

REUNITED had announced its disbandment due to a financial conflict with Overwatch League in last January. Even after the disbandment, the former members stayed together under the name ex-REUNITED and tried to look for a new sponsorship. Through the acquirement, the team can continue to play as an Overwatch team without any changes to the roster. The team will now be called eUnited.

Current members of eUnited Overwatch include Thomas “Morte” Kerbusch (support), Harrison “Kruise” Pond (all-rounder), Andrei “uNFixed” Leonov (all-rounder), and Hendrik-William “vallutaja” Kinks (DPS), along with new recruits Normunds “sharyk” Faterins (tank) and Ruben “Rubikon” Zurabyan (support). Kruise, who used to play as a support, has changed his role to an all-rounder.

During their interview with ESPN, the newly formed eUnited Overwatch team revealed that the team will be visiting South Korea for training. REUNITED had participated in APEX Season 1 and used to have scrimmages with Korean teams before. Hopefully the team will be back in APEX for the next season, so that fans will have another chance to see the team in action.
