Apex Legends has passed 1 million concurrent players and 10 million overall unique players within three days of release.

On the 7th of February (PST), Vince Zampella from Respawn Entertainment announced that in 72 hours, over 10 million players have played the game and that they’ve reached 1 million concurrent players as well. This is an exceptionally quick growth considering Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode had reached 10 million players after two weeks of release.

Along with their success in concurrent/unique players, their viewership on game streaming platforms is also on the rise. The game is already the most watched game on Twitch in the past three days, beating out both League of Legends and Fortnite.

Apex Legends is a Battle Royale game that is played in a 3-man squad, selecting from 8 distinct characters. Compared to other Battle Royale games, players can respawn under specific conditions and each character has their own unique skills for combat.
