On the 17th, Pearl Abyss launched the 'Lighting the Desert Together' event to celebrate the 4th anniversary of its global direct service for Black Desert.

This event was organized to commemorate the June 23rd anniversary of Black Desert's global direct service. It is a collaborative event for players worldwide; to participate, players can collect '[Event] Light of the Desert' items—awarded based on playtime—and use them at the 'Ancient Device' in Velia Town until July 7.

Rewards are distributed based on the cumulative amount of 'Light of the Desert' collected by the community, with a target of 1 billion units. Special coupons will be revealed as the community reaches 25%, 50%, and 75% of the goal. Upon reaching 100%, players will receive additional rewards along with a special buff that remains active until July 22.

The 100% completion rewards include 10k Cron Stones, a 'Moonlit Blessing Package (7 Days)', and the '[Permanent Title] We Are The World'. As the event is structured around players working together to unlock rewards, the cumulative completion rate is expected to be the key focus.

The '[Event] Token of the Desert Illuminator' obtained during the event can be exchanged for various items, including a '4k Cron Stone Bundle', 'Advice of Valks (+250)', '[Event] Choice of Fate Chest', '[Event] Shining Memory Weapon & Outfit Chest', and 'Horse Emblem: Imperial Golden Horse'.
