Devsisters (CEO Cho Gil-hyun) will host the official global tournament for its trading card game (TCG), 'Cookie Run: Braverse Card Game' (hereinafter 'Cookie Run Card Game'), at S-Factory in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, for two days from April 11 to 12.
This event marks the first-ever World Championship for the Cookie Run Card Game, serving as its largest global tournament where top players from regional qualifiers will compete to determine the ultimate winner.
The event will take place at S-Factory, a prominent 3,300-square-meter cultural complex in Seongsu-dong. It is designed as an offline festival for both TCG players and fans of the Cookie Run IP, featuring various interactive content and side programs. Admission is free, with entry available via on-site queuing without prior reservation.
The World Championship will feature 18 players selected from 10 regions worldwide, including South Korea, the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. Notably, Winston Sing from Canada, the inaugural winner of the 'North America Champion Cup' held last December, will also compete, promising intense competition. The tournament will follow a random format on the first day, April 11, with the final winner receiving a trophy, five don (approx. 18.75g) of gold coins, and exclusive champion memorabilia.
In addition to the main event, side tournaments open to all Cookie Run Card Game players will be held. These include the 'Brave League,' a 1-on-1 battle for general users, and a '2-on-2' team format. All participants will receive a free World Championship limited-edition legacy pack. Registration for these matches will be handled on-site.
The venue will also offer various interactive experiences for those less familiar with the card game. These include a 'Cookie Run Card Collection' zone where visitors can enjoy card collecting and interactions in a Roblox-based 3D space, a 'Card Collecting Event Zone' for booster pack collection and card exchange missions, and a 'Cookie Drawing Zone' where visitors can draw their own cards.
Workshops will be available to teach the basic rules and gameplay, while the main stage will host audience-participation programs such as the 'Cookie Run Golden Bell' and 'Booster Pack Open Gacha Event.' Visitors can also participate in a 'Stamp Rally Mission,' where they can earn prizes by completing various activities and collecting stamps on-site.
The event will feature a Cookie Run Store and booths from two official TCG retailers, where attendees can purchase various Cookie Run Card Game and IP-related merchandise. Exclusive items, such as playmats featuring special illustrations of Ancient and Beast Cookies, will be available for purchase at the World Championship venue.
