The Korea Mobile Game Association has appointed Kim Jong-hyuk, CEO of Morisawa Korea, as its new auditor. His three-year term will run from October 10, 2026, to October 9, 2029.

The association appointed CEO Kim as auditor during an extraordinary general meeting held on September 30 in the third-floor conference room of Alibaba Cloud. The auditor is responsible for inspecting the association's assets and operational execution. Through this appointment, the association plans to strengthen transparency and reliability across its accounting and overall management.
New auditor Kim Jong-hyuk joined Morisawa Korea in 2014, served as vice president, and assumed office as CEO in March 2025. He has supported the global expansion of domestic game companies through collaboration in multilingual fonts and licensing across Japanese, Chinese, and Latin scripts. Prior to joining Morisawa Korea, he accumulated international sales and global business experience as the head of the Japanese branch of a global electronics firm and working in the overseas sales division of a major domestic steel corporation.
In the gaming industry, he remains active through Morisawa Korea's role as an executive member company of the Korea Mobile Game Association. He served as an organizing committee member for the Global Game Developers Conference (GGDC) from 2024 to 2026 and for INDIE CRAFT from 2025 to 2026. Currently, he also serves as vice president of the Korea Font Association and executive secretary of the Korea-Japan Economic Cooperation Promotion Committee under the Korea Institute for Market Economy Advancement.
New auditor Kim Jong-hyuk stated, "Based on the trust of our member companies, I will faithfully fulfill my duties and responsibilities as auditor so that the association can operate even more transparently and fairly. I will also listen closely to voices from the field to help the association and its members grow together, contributing to the Korea Mobile Game Association's growth into an organization representing the global game industry beyond Korea."
Chairman Sung-ik Hwang stated, "We will lead the association even more firmly together with new auditor Kim Jong-hyuk. Based on his rich experience and expertise, we expect the management of the association to become more transparent and systematic. The association will continue to grow into a trusted organization alongside our member companies."
The Korea Mobile Game Association is a non-profit organization under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, planning and operating support initiatives for game industry promotion and the growth of small and medium-sized game developers. Approximately 1,300 member companies are currently affiliated with the association.
