Riot Games has been commended for keeping an ear to the ground in terms of what their respective playerbases desire in each of their titles, and today, the developer once gained showed it takes its community's opinions into account. Starting today, April 14, all VALORANT Twitch streams can drop access to the upcoming game's Closed Beta, as long as the stream in question is streaming VALORANT.

Riot Games made the announcement on the official VALORANT website and also, clarified that while Closed Beta drops were still running around the clock, the total number of drops would not increase. Instead, watching these streams would simply qualify as eligibility for the same allotted number of Closed Beta drops. The VALORANT Closed Beta is available for players in the United States, Europe, Canada, Turkey, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Riot has launched other recent initiatives to provide more Closed Beta access for VALORANT. The Closed Beta server loads have already been increased by 25% and are continuously being ramped up, and a few thousand keys have been given out manually to engaged VALORANT stream viewers who have been unlucky thus far. Lastly, Riot has banned many VALORANT account sellers and claims to be tracking more to ban in the near future.

Riot Games also said it was unable to confirm dates, but that the team behind VALORANT was hard at work in trying to offer Closed Beta access to Korea, Brazil, and Latin America.
