On Friday morning, Stephen "Mortdog" Mortimer, the lead designer of Riot Game's Teamfight Tactics, unveiled details of what's to come in next week's 9.21 patch, the final one before Set 2 kicks off.

To the delight of those who have been playing the game since 9.20 went live, Pantheon, and the Guardian bonus as a whole, are being nerfed. Additionally, Lissandra and Draven are being knocked down a few pegs in terms of their effectiveness. The Hextech origin is being tweaked as well.

The full tentative changes are below:

On the other side of the coin, numerous items, origins, and units are receiving buffs to help create a healthier metagame going forward. Two Demon units, Brand and Varus, are seeing a boost to their stats, which inadvertently helps their main origin as well as Ranger, which is being buffed as well. A trio of underwhelming items are being enhanced to, in theory, put them on-par with others when players are tasked with the inevitable question of "Should I make this item or this one?"

The patch is expected to go live next Wednesday prior to Set 2 being released within the next few weeks.
