The first clear of the Nightmare difficulty for Lost Ark's new raid content, 'Aegir Extreme,' has been achieved. The clear time was 22 minutes.

The clear was achieved by the 'Kazeros the First' raid group, known for their world-first clear of Kazeros. The roster differs slightly from their previous run. The clear party consisted of: Saenggakhaebolge (Bard), Kkinhyeondong (Warlord), Boranyangijipsa16 (Breaker), Balgumi (Glaivier), Jeottodugeosseoyo (Artist), Munseol (Gunslinger), Cadlez (Scouter), and Mulgalbi (Battle Master). While this group is known for clearing without Esther weapons, the inclusion of the renowned ranker Boranyangijipsa16 meant this run did not fit that criteria.

'Aegir Extreme' is a single-gate raid based on Kazeros Act 1, where the boss fight begins immediately upon entry. During the live broadcast, Normal and Hard modes were introduced as relatively low difficulty, while Nightmare was described as a 'challenging difficulty.'

Nightmare difficulty does not allow for revivals and includes the exclusive title 'Lord of Crimson Flame,' which can only be obtained for four weeks.

This first clear occurred faster than expected. Compared to the approximately 27 minutes it took to clear the Cathedral of Horizon, this is a significantly faster record, even by Season 3 raid standards. For reference, other notable fast first-clear records include Kazeros Act 4 (2 hours 29 minutes), Behemoth (2 hours 29 minutes), and Trial Hanumatan (2 hours 38 minutes).

Munseol (Sotimeri), a member of the first-clear party, stated, "Referencing the Chinese server's "Hogeop" difficulty footage before the clear was helpful," adding, "Although it was introduced as a challenging difficulty, the actual challenge was easier than expected."

Meanwhile, Aegir Extreme is a limited-time event running for four weeks. It will be followed by the release of Brelshaza Extreme.
