Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced on the 15th that it has released the first major update for its new mobile idle RPG, Stone Age Idle (developed by Netmarble N2), introducing the new 'Base Capture' content.

'Base Capture' is a large-scale, seasonal server-vs-server event where the strongest players across the continent of Niis compete for the honor of their server and tribe. Strategic cooperation and seamless teamwork between tribes are key to victory, and the mode is designed to be accessible to all players on a server, not just top-ranked users.

Server rankings are determined by the combined victory points of each server, and rewards are distributed to all players who meet the minimum battle participation requirement. Rewards include new mount pets 'Norfus' and 'Verfus,' as well as trainer equipment skins, new titles, and various growth materials.

New content, 'Lucy the Angler,' has also been added. 'Lucy the Angler' is a single-player mini-game where players enjoy fishing alongside the trainer 'Lucy.' The game involves using bait to cast a line and catch fish. Scores and rankings are calculated based on the grade and size of the fish caught, with rewards provided accordingly.

Additionally, this update expands the main stages, daily dungeons, and the Infinite Den, while also implementing various quality-of-life improvements.

Meanwhile, the game, which officially launched last March, is the latest installment in the 'Stone Age' IP, a series enjoyed by 200 million players. It allows users to build a legion-level deck of up to 24 units by combining six trainers and 18 pets to execute unique strategies. The game is designed to be accessible to everyone, featuring a simple and intuitive system.
