Teamfight Tactics patch 10.17 sees minor tweaks to over a dozen champions, two items

On Monday evening, Teamfight Tactics' Lead Designer, Stephen "Mortdog" Mortimer, gave the auto chess' community a glimpse into what they can expect in the upcoming 10.17 patch. Set to go live on Wednesday, numerous small tweaks to numbers are being rolled out and the team feels confident in the current state of the meta ahead of Set 4's launch in September. 

Posted on his official YouTube channel, Mortimer dissected what is and isn't working and why certain changes were made.

 

Patch 10.17 balance changes

Traits

 

Sniper- 10/18% bonus damage per Hex is being reduced to 9/16%

 

 

Champions

 

Jarvin- His armor is being reduced from 45 to 40.

Poppy- Her magic resist is being buffed from 30 to 35.

Blitzcrank- His base armor is receiving a 33% buff, going from 45 to 60.

Cassiopeia- Her spell damage once she is 3-starred is going from 3000 to 3500.

Neeko- Her spell damage once she is 3-starred is dropping to 450 from 500.

Master Yi- His ultimate's true damage is being nerfed from 75/100/150 to 70/95/145.

Shaco- His base armor is being reduced from 25 to 20.

Riven- Her base HP is being pumped from 800 to 850 and her magic resist is seeing a 50% boost (from 20 to 30).

Xerath- The five-cost champion is having his spell's damage bumped to 320/440/2500 from 300/400/2500.

Gangplank- The pirate is too strong and his spell damage is going from 550/700/9001 to 525/675/9001.

 

Items

 

Hand of Justice- The reworked item's Damage or Healing bonus is being nerfed from 50% to 45%.

Titan's Resolve- The item's max stacks is falling from 50 to 25.

 

 

 

The exact time of the patch going live isn't currently known but it should fall between the typical hours of 8 am and 12 pm PT.
