Undefeated since the start of the season, kt Rolster is looking to break its record for the longest winning streak in team history. Meanwhile, Nongshim RedForce faces a series of opponents that could prove decisive in maintaining its top-tier standing.
Riot Games, the organizer of the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK)—the Korean professional league for League of Legends—announced that the fourth week of the 2026 LCK regular season will take place from Wednesday, the 22nd, to Sunday, the 26th. Matches will be held at the LCK Arena in LoL PARK, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and at the Inspire Arena, which will host the T1 Home Ground event.
○ kt Rolster Aims to Break Its Own Opening Winning Streak Record
All eyes are on whether kt Rolster, which has yet to lose a match this season, can surpass its own team record.
The momentum of sole league leader kt Rolster is formidable. With core mid laner 'Bdd' Kwak Bo-seong in top form, the team has seen significant performance gains across all lanes, including the rising skill of top laner 'Perfect' Lee Seung-min and the positive impact of support 'Effort' Lee Sang-ho since his return to the LCK. kt Rolster is currently on a high, having consecutively defeated mid-to-top-tier teams including T1, Gen.G, Nongshim RedForce, and Dplus KIA.
kt Rolster's current six-game winning streak to start the season is a feat the team has not achieved in about nine years. In the 2017 LCK Spring split, the team also started with a 6-0 record. In Week 4, a critical juncture for breaking this record, kt Rolster will face Kiwoom DRX and BNK FEARX. While kt Rolster is expected to have the upper hand against these teams—currently ranked 8th and 7th, respectively—the team failed to extend its 2017 streak after a loss to MVP, who was in 7th place at the time.
○ Can Nongshim RedForce Maintain Its Top Standing Against Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G

Nongshim RedForce, which held 3rd place through Week 3, is set to face formidable opponents in Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G.
Nongshim RedForce currently sits alone in 3rd place with a 4-2 record. After consecutive wins against Dplus KIA and DN Supers, the team suffered back-to-back losses to kt Rolster and Kiwoom DRX, before rebounding with victories over BNK FEARX and Hanwha Life to reach four wins. To remain in the top tier, Nongshim RedForce needs to accumulate as many wins as possible in Week 4.
Nongshim RedForce's Week 4 opponents are Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G. Both matches carry significant weight as these teams are direct competitors in the standings. With Hanwha Life Esports at 5-1, one game ahead, and Gen.G at 3-3, one game behind, both matches are expected to be all-out battles.
Although Nongshim RedForce defeated Hanwha Life Esports 2-0 in the 2026 LCK Cup, they had previously suffered 13 consecutive losses against them in the LCK regular season. Furthermore, Hanwha Life Esports' recent performance has improved significantly compared to the LCK Cup, suggesting a difficult matchup. Against Gen.G, the situation is even more dire: Nongshim RedForce has lost all 21 of their LCK regular season encounters since 2021, and 23 straight matches when including the LCK Cup and KeSPA Cup, leaving them at a distinct disadvantage.
Following a 2-1 victory over Hanwha Life in Week 3, Nongshim RedForce head coach Choi In-kyu remarked in an interview, "I'm relieved we won 2-1, but there is a lot to be said regarding our performance." He is expected to focus on addressing these performance issues ahead of the Week 4 schedule.
The 2026 LCK regular season features two matches per day, Wednesday through Sunday. All matches are broadcast live via online platforms such as Chzzk and SOOP. Tickets for in-person viewing can be purchased via NOL Ticket, with sales opening 216 hours (9 days) before each match.
