Netmarble's new MMORPG, 'SOL: enchant,' which launched on the 18th, has achieved early success by hitting No. 1 in sales on both major domestic app stores.
'SOL: enchant' topped the Apple App Store game sales chart on its launch day and reached No. 1 on the Google Play game sales chart in less than 24 hours, proving the high level of interest. It also ranked second in popularity on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, drawing a positive response from users.
'SOL: enchant' is a new MMORPG built on the motto of an 'Omniscient MMORPG.' It has garnered particular attention for introducing a unique 'Divine Authority' system that grants top-ranking users partial server management privileges.
The Divine Authority system allows the top-ranked user on a server to ascend to the status of a 'God,' granting them the power to influence the in-game economy and the operation of certain content. This structure, which allows users to go beyond simply consuming content to directly participating in the formation of the game's ecosystem, is being praised as a user-driven system rarely seen in existing MMORPGs.
Driven by this interest, Netmarble opened a new world, 'Regina,' at 8:00 PM on the day of launch. 'Regina' was added just eight hours after the game's release and consists of five servers.
Launch commemorative events are also underway. Netmarble has tripled the reward drop rates for all boss monsters and is awarding the Epic grade item 'Ring of Baltaros' to the first user on each server to reach level 50.
'SOL: enchant' is a MMORPG developed by ALT9, a studio founded by former developers of 'Lineage M,' and is serviced by Netmarble. It supports a cross-platform environment for both mobile and PC.
