As reported by Jacob Wolf and ESPN on November 11th, Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon has reached a verbal agreement with Team Dignitas for a two year contract extension totaling $2.3 million guaranteed. Upon signing, this contract will make him one of the highest-paid LCS players, rivaling Jung "Impact" Eon-yeong who also had a multi-million dollar contract when he signed with Liquid.

Huni was a major part of Clutch's branding, and that was amplified when the team rebranded to Dignitas after their merger this Summer. Additionally, with DIG re-signing him now, it draws other potential players to the brand, knowing they'll have a star in the top lane.

With rumors circulating that Tanner "Damonte" Damonte will re-sign as well, this would mean both solo-laners are remaining for the team. Nam "Lira" Tae-yoo's contract is also set to expire this year, and has not been extended yet. The bot duo has remaining time on their contracts, but can be bought out or moved to Academy. So far, the only (unofficial) confirmation for DIG's 2020 season is Huni will remain in the top lane.
