Going into the weekend, Echo Fox was rated really low on most people’s preseasons power rankings. They faced off against new arch nemesis, Clutch Gaming, in their first match and Golden Guardians in their second. At the end of the weekend, FOX made it out 1-1 with both games being relatively close. With a number of other teams going 0-2, it’s clear that Echo Fox may have been a little bit underrated.

Apollo starts off talking about his new roster and org, and cursing the loss against Clutch. “I really wanted to beat them. Maybe it didn’t look like it,” he joked, “but I really wanted to win.” Partway through the interview, Echo Fox jungler ganks the interview, barging into the room for some unknown reason (I’ll have to ask next time I see him). We caught up on the two and found out what had changed in each of them since they last played on Team Impulse, which one is the true kindboy, and how Rush is so good at utilizing his Karthus passive.
