KZ PraY: "Six years have passed... Initially, I was planning to play as a professional for just 1 year."

On the 21st of June, on the 9th day of the '2018 LCK Summer Split Round 1', Kingzone DragonX defeated Afreeca Freecs with a score of 2-1. After their defeat in the opening game of the Summer Split, Kingzone won 3 consecutive games. During today's series, PraY took the lead in the botlane through Varus and Ezreal, heavily contributing to his team's success.

The following is an interview with PraY.

How does it feel winning on your 6th year anniversary of being a professional gamer?

I didn't know until the fans started giving me 'do-shi-raks'. (Packed lunch boxes) I've always lost on days like this in the past... I'm both glad and happy that I was able to win today.

It felt like that your team was relying a lot on the success of botlane today. How did you prepare for today's match?

We were expecting the enemy team to ban Ezreal. We picked our champions with that in mind, so it worked out great. Overall, we prepared really well for today's series, I think that's why we were able to win both games 1 and 3 in a similar fashion.

In game 3, was the swap between Lulu and Taliyah planned beforehand?

The current meta really allows teams to confuse their opponent during picks&bans. I don't think the enemy was expecting GorillA to play Taliyah support. It really worked in our favor.

But with all that said, you guys had a difficult time penetrating the enemy's defense. Why were you guys having such a difficult time?

We made a couple of mistakes while we were snowballing. I think that's why the game was delayed.

You'll soon reach your 1,500 kills in the LCK. You'll be the very first player to have achieved that feat.

It feels like it was just yesterday that I've hit my 1,000 kill mark. It would've been better had I reached that count today, but in the next game, I'm hoping that I reach it along with a win.

During your six-year career, what was your happiest moment?

I can't think of any. I have more sad and angry moments, actually. Maybe it's because I have the habit of frequently recalling my lost games to see what we did wrong.

Any last words?

Six years have passed.

Initially, I was planning to play as a professional for just 1 year. I believe that I'm still playing thanks to all the love that I have received from the fans. Please cheer for me during my 7th and 8th-year anniversary as well.
