KZ PraY on the Current Meta: "For Bottom lane users, it’s like hell."

On the 2018 LCK Summer split day 7 match 1, Kingzone DragonX (KZ) defeated kt Rolster (KT) 2:0. KZ showed some quality performance in teamfights and secured a rather easy victory against KT. Kim “PraY” Jong-in was interviewed after the match. He performed well using Ezreal and Lucian.

Q. You won KT 2:0. What are your thoughts on your victory?

We didn’t start off well. But, I feel relieved to win against a strong team like KT.

Q. You picked traditional ADCs and managed to survive well in fights. You performance was concrete.

I was trying out some new picks for the current meta. I picked Ezreal and Lucian because they were a good pick for our team comp.

Q. The team is gradually recovering. Especially, I think the Bottom duo recovered. What are your thoughts on this?

Bottom lane has changed the most [in the current meta]. We’re focusing on the things that we’ve lacked.

Q. The team will go against Afreeca Freecs on Thursday.

Afreeca Freecs is by far the most toughest team to go against in this current meta. It will be tough.

Q. How was the team atmosphere during the pause in game 1.

We’re not allowed to talk about the game, so the team talked on other everyday topics. It was mostly on our good memories.

Q. As a ADC/Marksman, what are your thoughts on the current meta?

Fans will have fun since there are some interesting picks and the game ends quite early. However, for Bottom lane users, it’s like hell. There are too many champions that can be picked. Probably everyone else will agree. It’s so hard. Well, it seems that you need a lot of practice when using AP champions.

Q. You are going against Griffin next week. How would you rate Griffin?

They are a good team. I think that they are the team that received the most benefits from the current meta.

Q. Any last words?

The meta is really messy, so there isn’t a big performance gap between teams. Our start wasn’t that good, but we’re trying our best. I’d like to ask the fans for support. Thank you.
