GenG Esports LoL team announces their new recruits: Fly and Mong

Global Esports company Gen.G Esports (CEO Kevin Chu) announced that they have recruited Chang-Min "Mong" Moon, and Yong-Joon "Fly" Song to Gen.G LoL team. The deal is set to boost power ahead of the upcoming 2018 LoL Champions Korea summer season and the 2018 LoL World Championship.

Mong, who recently joined the team Gen.G Esports, led BPZ to third place in the 2017 Challenge Korea Spring. Gen.G said they saw his potential for unlimited growth as a result of testing in the solo rank. Mong is going to lead the upcoming season with top laner, Sung-jin "Cuvee" Lee.

Fly, well-known as a formal player of Fly Quest, also joined GenG. Esports with Mong. From his debut season, Fly has attracted attention due to his exquisite appearance and personality. He has accumulated many experiences in China and North America. Song will be a new addition to the Gen.G LoL team, demonstrating a different style of play with the existing mid laner Min-ho "Crown" Lee.

Ji-Hoon Lee, general manager of Gen.G Esports has said "I am pleased to welcome the talented players with Gen.G roster. We have been in close discussions with coaches to recruit players who can be satisfied with three conditions. First, we wanted players with the long-term potential to learn from the veteran players of Gen. G who had the winning experience. Second, we wanted a player who can show flexible play. And lastly, We wanted a player who can enhance our roster power and can help in achieving top scores in the Summer Split. We are pleased to bring the right players. "
