Global game developer and publisher NetEase Games (NASDAQ: NTES, HKEX: 9,999) has begun recruiting users for the first Korean 'Open Beta Test (OBT)' of its street basketball mobile game, 'NBA Infinite.'
'NBA Infinite' is the first street basketball mobile game to feature an official NBA license. Registration for the beta test is open from noon today (KST) until May 6, and users can apply by completing a survey on the official website. The beta test will run for approximately two weeks, from May 13 to May 26, and will be available on both iOS and Android platforms. Additionally, participants who complete designated missions during the test will receive a limited-edition costume that can be used upon the game's official launch.
'NBA Infinite' was released as a free-to-play mobile game in select global regions, including the U.S. and Southeast Asia, last May, and it won the 'Best Multiplayer Game' award at the 2025 Google Play Awards. The game features over 40 real-life NBA superstars, including LeBron James and Stephen Curry, and is the first basketball game to incorporate strategic elements and progression mechanics from the MOBA genre.
Pre-registration for NBA Infinite is also underway. The company plans to offer various rewards based on pre-registration milestones, including the chance to receive the superstar 'LaMelo Ball'.
