'Extreme' content, famously associated with Brelshaza and Valtan, has returned to Lost Ark. This new Extreme Raid series features Brelshaza, Egir, and Kazeros Acts 1 and 2.
Each raid will run sequentially for four weeks, with Brelshaza appearing after Egir concludes. Like previous Extreme modes, rewards are limited to one clear per roster per week and are independent of your designated gold-earning characters.
The raids are designed as single-gate encounters, meaning the boss fight begins immediately upon entry. The focus is entirely on high-difficulty, single-boss combat. Normal and Hard difficulties provide one revive opportunity per character.
There are three difficulty levels: Normal (1,720), Hard (1,750), and Nightmare (1,770). Rewards include 20,000 gold for Normal and 45,000 gold for Hard. Nightmare offers the same rewards as Hard, plus an exclusive legendary title with a unique icon upon the first clear. Nightmare is a high-difficulty mode with no revives, where the primary goal is to secure the title through a single clear.
Rewards consist of gold and exclusive tokens, which can be used to purchase growth-enhancing items. Key rewards include Relic Combat Engraving Recipes, Hell Key Chests, and Metallurgy Selection Chests.

Cathedral of Horizons nerfs, new 'Light of Conviction' legendary set, and more
Key Changes in the April 22 Update
- Cathedral of Horizons: Stages 2-3 HP reduced; some hit-stagger patterns in Stages 1-3 eased
- 50% of gold rewards for end-game content below 1,710 converted to Bound Gold
- Legion Commander of Kazeros' (LWC) cards added to Wandering Merchants
- 'Light of Conviction' added as a superior version of 'Master of Spears'
- Express Mail removed; merged with standard mail
- Darkness/Light-Darkness Bomb buffs unified
- Automatic Core registration added
Beyond the Extreme Raid, this update includes various improvements. The most significant change is the increase in Bound Gold. 50% of gold earned from content below item level 1,710 will now be converted to Bound Gold. This applies to lower-tier Kazeros Raid segments from Echidna through the end of Normal mode, as well as Serka Normal content.
The Cathedral of Horizons has been nerfed for Stages 2 and 3 to ensure a smoother experience. Overall difficulty for Stages 1-3 has been noticeably reduced by easing hit-stagger and stiffness patterns.
Card acquisition has also been eased. The 'Legion Commander of Kazeros' set (also known as LWC) now allows players to purchase one Legion Commander card via Wandering Merchants, and cards for the 'Master of Spears' set are now more accessible. Additionally, 'Light of Conviction,' a superior set that replaces 'Master of Spears,' has been added. It consists of four legendary cards combined with hero and rare cards, making it relatively easy for existing collectors to utilize.
Convenience improvements include the unification of Darkness and Light-Darkness Bomb debuffs into a single refreshable effect, and the merger of Express Mail with standard mail. Furthermore, an automatic Core registration feature has been added to reduce repetitive management tasks.
