Smilegate (CEO Sung Joon-ho) announced on Wednesday, the 22nd, that it is adding an 'Extreme' mode to Acts 1 and 2 of the Kazeros Raid in its flagship MMORPG, 'Lost Ark,' following the popularity of these acts among adventurers.

Extreme mode offers a more intense experience for previously released raids. Raid bosses feature more powerful attacks and new patterns, adding depth to the challenge. This is also a limited-time event available only for a specific period.

The Extreme mode for the Kazeros Raid will be open from April 22 to May 20 for Act 1, and from May 20 to June 17 for Act 2. It is available in three difficulty levels: 'Normal,' 'Hard,' and 'Nightmare.' To reduce the burden of entry, both acts are structured to allow players to challenge only the final gate. The required item levels for entry are 1720 for Normal, 1750 for Hard, and 1770 for Nightmare.

Regardless of difficulty, adventurers who clear the raid for the first time will receive various growth materials, including a Legendary Leap Card Selection Pack and a Hero Gem Selection Chest. Additionally, those who clear the Nightmare difficulty will be awarded a legendary title. Players will also receive gold and a special currency called 'Coins of Fire and Ice' each time they clear the Extreme content. These coins can be exchanged for various growth materials, such as Relic Combat Engraving Selection Pouches and Rare Hell Key Chests.
